Shieldmaiden
Caroline Freudenthal
Abstract Art
hosted by
Bumblebee Studio
7 September-
8 October 2017
Engelbrektsgatan 21,
Stockholm, Sweden

“Shieldmaiden” (sv. Sköldmö) is an artistic concept
that came to me in June 2016.
The legendary Viking warrior women who
rose to the challenge
when faced with setbacks and adversity
have not only inspired
the artwork featured in this exhibition,
they also personify my determination to overcome the
hardships of this past year.

“Shieldmaiden” is a homage to lost loved ones
and marks the end of an era in my life as well as
celebrating a new chapter.

Welcome to share this

rite of passage with me.

PS: Not even a Shieldmaiden can
go it alone and she needs to rest &
recuperate after the battle is over.
Without major reinforcements this exhibit
would not have been possible.
